I am an Expanded Practice Dental Hygienist with a degree from Lane Community College Dental Hygiene Program. I support whole body health, through management of oral health. 

I have always been fascinated with dentistry. As a young child, I had a childhood dentist that allowed me to observe and assist with my parent’s procedures. This experience lead to a career in Dental Assisting for 14 years. When my son was born, I stayed home with him until he entered grade school. It was at this point, I decided to continue my career path into Dental Hygiene, and enrolled into college again in my mid 30’s. 

My goal as a Dental Health Provider is to forge relationships with my patients. It is so important to be heard, and felt supported, even when it comes to our oral health. It is vital to have a healthy smile, and the self esteem wrapped up in that is a major factor. I strive to make connections on a real level with people. I feel this is one of the most important aspects of my job, as well as gaining trust. My hope is that every patient feels supported, heard and that their oral health needs are addressed. 

I have lived in the Willamette Valley most of my life, attending grade school and high school in west Eugene. I have lived in Veneta for 20 years now. My hobbies include spending time with my family and loved ones making memories, fishing, camping, outdoor activities, eating out and travel.
